Our firm was originally established as H.E. Hunt & Company in 1951 to service the insurance broking needs of the Canadian Oil and Energy sector.

Following the retirement of our founder, the company name was changed to H.E. Hunt & Associates (1987) Ltd.  Due to our knowledge of insurance and dedication to serving the needs of our clients, we have established the company as an industry leader in the field of oil & gas insurance broking.

Today the advice of H.E. Hunt is sought out by numerous insurers looking to expand their own knowledge of Industry related insurance matters.

H.E. Hunt & Associates specialize in oil and gas insurance broking services, trading in a wide variance of insurances coverage both domestically and internationally.

With an acute knowledge of foreign insurance exposures and a supporting world-wide network of underwriters, we made the conscious decision to expand our operations during the early 1990’s to satisfy the insurance needs of the global marketplace. As a result of this expansion, we provide advice and arrange coverage for operations throughout the world.

H.E Hunt & Associates, as both a Canadian and International Insurance Broker, has established connections with insurance intermediaries and correspondents globally. Our clients conduct operations in nearly every corner of the globe, including South America, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Mexico, the United States, and of course throughout Canada. We act as Insurance Brokers to all aspects of the oil and gas industry including Seismic, Drilling and/or Workover Contractors, Specialty Downhole Equipment, Completion and other related Contractor’s, Consulting Firms, as well as Exploration, Development and Production Companies operating both on land and offshore.
